PICTURE YOURSELF RECYCLING!

What a great GREEN day! Today was Kentucky Kids Day at NOMS. The PTSA had to be creative because the school made a new policy that NO food could be given out during school. YIKES! That's the best way to make middle school kids happy - food and money, that is. So our wonderful Kentucky Kids Day Chairpersons, Nancy Stevens and Susan Spayd came up with the idea of getting the kids to think bigger than themselves by getting into recycling, and "picturing themselves doing it" by adding some fun with the photo booths. What a great idea!!!
During the different lunches the kids got to use GREEN pens to sign the "I Will Recycle" Pledge and then they got to have their picture taken for FREE with their friends. Here are two 8th Graders signing the Recycling Pledge...
More and More signing the Recycling Pledge ...

These photo booths were so cool!
Four poses,
four pictures and
four friends (sometimes more)

Today was a day of friendship, going GREEN and smiles!

Tanner is recycling - how about you?

"I'm going to recycle everyday!"

These guys said they wanted their picture taken again!

Friends in line waiting to have their picture taken together!
It didn't matter what grade they were - every lunch period was packed with kids wanting their picture taken.
