JAVA products delivered Friday

Hi Parents,

Please join me in thanking Nancy Stevens, Shelly Heckenberg, Deborah Alston and Susan Spayd for all their hard work putting on this fundraiser. They've done a great job! We raised approximately $4500. By far, the top product ordered was the Hot Chocolate.

In case you didn't know, the JAVA fundraising products were distributed to students on Friday, October 10. If your NOMS student didn't bring home their JAVA products, please contact the school. There were a few orders that were turned in late that will be delivered next Friday. If you have any questions or comments, please contact Nancy Stevens.

Volunteering at NOMS

Would you like to volunteer at NOMS? It is very easy and we would love to have you.

What is needed? Updated background check on file.

How do I know I have an updated background check on file? Contact the NOMS office and they will be able to tell you. If you have one on file, you are ready to go.

I do not have a background check on file. If you do not have one, check with the elementary and/or high school where you volunteer to see if they have one to forward to NOMS. If not, complete the “background check form” and forward it to the NOMS office to be processed. Allow approximately two months for the forms to be processed by the State.

Purposes of the PTSA

· To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship
· To raise standards of home life· To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth
· To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
· To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
