Awards from Red Ribbon Week

Thanks to all of the students and staff from the NOMS PTSA for participating in this years incredible Red Ribbon Week where we celebrated a balanced life of smart choices!

Congratulations to all of the students who made the choice to sign their pledges to remain drug free and tobacco free! Great job to you all for making that step. And congratulations to those of you who won the drawings each day as well. Enjoy your gift cards!

This was such an amazing Red Ribbon Week that we had amazing results to our contests as well. For the Smarties Contest, there were 1197 packs of Smarties in the bin and two different students in two different classes guessed 1200 Smarties. Congratulations to Rebecca Gash of Ms. Wilkins' class and Abislek Malesh of Ms. Newcomb's class for both winning the Smarties contest. Both target classes will receive their own bin of Smarties and Mrs. Wilkins and Mrs. Newcomb will each receive their own jar of gluesticks.

Even more surprising, there were 757 mints in the mint jar and two different students each guessed 756 mints. Congratulations to Matt Sandman from Mr. Eaton's class and Ellie Keene from Mr. Duvall's class for guessing the closest and both winning this contest. Both classes will receive their own jar of mints and Matt and Ellie will each receive their own $50.00 gift card to Target.

Thanks to all of you for pledging and participating!!!

Ms. Tuney's class won the annual Door Decorating contest. Congratulations to Ms. Tuney and her wonderful class. They won a $200 classroom voucher that they may choose as a class to use in whatever way they think is best. Great creativity! Thanks to all of you for all of your hard work this week on your classroom doors! They all look great!"
